Controlpanel does not work for UR e-Series Simulator

Especially when you set an Operational Mode Password then you need to manually switch between the manual operation mode of the UR and the automatic mode with additional remote control. Switching between the modes makes it necessary to restart the drag&bot driver. Therefore we recommend to turn of the Operational Mode Password for a proper usage of drag&bot with the Universal Robot.

Make sure you are not using any custom kernels like provided with the frankalib. If so you need to reinstall the running OS and use the provided kernel of XUBUNTU
